Starting on September 2018 I took a new position within the organization as Head of the new Content and Digital Platforms Team. Our responsibilities include managing the Portuguese national public services catalog and the ePortugal portal, among many other plataforms related to public service delivery and public content, using content design, strategy and product management techniques.

AMA is Portugal’s agency for reducing bureaucracy and the digitalization of government. For the past three years I have been working on open data initiatives and digital government projects. These includes Usability and User Experience initatives, app development and content strategy for web channels, among others.

Feb 2010 – Mar 2013

I joined AMA as a PR & Communications Manager, working on the promotion and strategy of several brands and products, such as the Portuguese Citizen Card (Cartão de Cidadão) and the Citizen Shops (Lojas do Cidadão). Also was responsible for media relations, events management and internal communication activities.

I wrote my master thesis on the evolution of the desktop Operating System interface, using content analysis to chart the evolution of GUIs, Icons and other visual elements. Graduated Summa Cum Laude (18/20)

2004

I have a pre-Bologna 5 year degree on Communication and Media Studies. Studied one year in Rome (Universitá La Sapienza) under the Erasmus Programme.
